As a Machine Learning Enginer in Customer Engineering, you will be responsible for building high-quality AI conversation models that offer real-time coaching and assistance for our customers’ contact center agents. You’ll use tooling built by our engineering teams to train, evaluate, and improve machine learning models, but will also be hands-on coding on e.g. data ingestion pipelines. You collaborate closely in the team with conversation analysts and conversational designers, and you interact with the engineering teams to improve tooling.


What You'll Do:

  • You’ll train, evaluate, improve and deploy machine learning models for new and existing customers and are responsible for their quality in production
  • You’ll lead this process from the engineering side end-to-end
  • You’ll write data ingestion pipelines and integrate with customer APIs
  • You’ll analyze project proposals for their technical feasibility
  • You’ll work closely with conversation analysts and conversation designers to improve label and model quality
  • You proactively communicate with implementation managers and engineers to improve the processes and tooling


  • What We Look For:

  • An obsession for customers and the value we drive for them
  • A self-starter who can move fast, both using no-code tooling and in code.
  • Extensive coding experience in Python and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Proficiency in SQL. Some familiarity with data science/analysis is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ML; ability to train, evaluate, debug and improve machine learning models.
  • A track record of independently delivering on customer-facing projects
  • Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Enough confidence to have your ideas challenged without feeling like you're being challenged.
  • Experience with NLP and/or classification problems are a plus.
